On August 31, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of the Traffic Police Department, Provincial Department of Health, Department of Construction and Hoi Phu ward visited and encouraged the victims in the passenger car overturning incident that occurred in the area.
Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Que directed relevant units to urgently rescue the victims, verify and clarify the cause of the accident to avoid similar cases from happening.
At Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital, Mr. Que inquired about the health, treatment situation, and treatment of patients.

Regarding the accident, a representative of the Provincial Department of Construction said that the passenger car registered for business and technical criteria inspection in Ho Chi Minh City, running the Ho Chi Minh City - Gia Lai route and vice versa.
Functional agencies are also checking the driver's alcohol and drug concentration, and investigating details related to the serious accident.
Initial identification of the accident has determined that at least 1 person died, 7 people were injured and had to be hospitalized for treatment and emergency treatment. At the time of the accident, there were about 31 passengers on the car.

As Lao Dong Newspaper reported, in the early morning of the same day, on the eastern bypass road, in the direction of Ham Rong intersection (Hoi Phu ward, Gia Lai province), an accident occurred.
The sleeper bus of Viet Tan Phat bus company, license plate 50E-449. XX, was traveling in the direction from Ham Rong to Dak Doa. When arriving at the above area, the bus lost control, overturned on the side of the road, and the vehicle was heavily damaged.
Mr. Vu Manh Dinh - Chairman of Hoi Phu Ward People's Committee said: "In recent days, the weather in the area has been rainy, especially the Ham Rong slope is out of sight, thick fog, which may be the cause of the driver's accident. Representatives of the Ward People's Committee will also come to the hospital to encourage and support the victims.
