Activities under the Project "Medical and Educational Access Program for Children in Difficult Circumstances in Ca Mau Province for the period 2026 - 2028", approved and sponsored by the Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee and Children's Action Organization.

At the examination point, the children were clinically examined by doctors, electrocardiograms, echocardiograms and necessary paraclinical tests were performed to assess cardiovascular status. Parents were also advised on abnormal signs related to congenital heart disease.

Thanh Vu Medic Bac Lieu General Hospital in coordination with Tam Duc Heart Hospital mobilizes a team of cardiovascular experts to participate in examination and screening. Cases of congenital heart disease are diagnosed with doctors' advice, guidance on examination and treatment. Cases with surgical indications will be sponsored by the program for surgery costs.

According to BS.CKI Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy - Deputy Director of Thanh Vu Medic Bac Lieu General Hospital, child health care is one of the priorities in community activities. Connecting resources between agencies, social organizations and health units will help children, especially those in difficult circumstances, have more opportunities to access care and treatment services for congenital heart disease.

The program contributes to early detection of congenital heart disease, helping children receive timely counseling and treatment, and expanding access to medical services for children in difficult circumstances in Ca Mau province.
