On February 14, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Nguyen To Hoa (residing in Phuc Minh hamlet, Tan Phu commune, Nghe An province) said that after eating bread at An Nhien restaurant at noon on February 11, she had headaches, fever, vomiting, diarrhea and had to be hospitalized for treatment at Tan Ky Medical Center.

According to Ms. Hoa, about 10 people have symptoms of suspected food poisoning after eating at this facility, and are being treated at some hospitals in the area. "Up to now, I have not seen functional agencies come to work with people; restaurant representatives have also not appeared," Ms. Hoa said.
Mr. Pham Van Khanh (resident of Trai Xuan hamlet, Tan Phu commune) also said that after eating food bought from An Nhien restaurant, he had abdominal pain, diarrhea and had to be hospitalized. He is being treated at Tan Ky Medical Center.

I have not seen the police work with me and the An Nhien restaurant has not appeared," Mr. Khanh said.
Previously, on February 13, Mr. Nguyen Duc Chinh (resident of Phuc Minh hamlet, Tan Phu commune) representing some people filed a petition to Tan Phu Commune Police reflecting suspected food poisoning after eating bread at An Nhien restaurant (Tan Thai hamlet, Tan Phu commune).

According to the petition, about 3 hours after eating, many people developed symptoms of abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, headache and were taken to the emergency room and treated at Tan Ky Medical Center and some medical facilities in the area.
Regarding the incident, on February 14, Mr. Vy Van Quang - Chairman of Tan Phu Commune People's Committee - confirmed that many people were hospitalized as reflected. He said that the Commune Police had intervened to verify and clarify.
The number of victims is being statistically analyzed at hospitals, specific information will be provided later," Mr. Quang said.
