Of these, 24 cases have been discharged from the hospital, the remaining 62 cases are hospitalized in a state of temporary stable health. An Phuoc General Hospital has up to 45 patients involved in the incident admitted to the hospital, currently 26 cases are still hospitalized. The number of hospitalizations has increased gradually from the afternoon of December 14 and December 15.

The Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health) has sent a document to the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Health to investigate and handle the suspected food poisoning case.
In particular, Lam Dong Provincial Department of Health is requested to urgently direct hospitals with patients undergoing treatment to focus resources on actively treating patients with food poisoning to avoid affecting their health and lives.
At the same time, it is recommended that the Department of Health organize an investigation and trace the origin of food to clearly identify the source of ingredients and foods suspected of causing poisoning; take samples of food and diseases for testing to find the cause; investigate and strictly handle violations of food safety regulations (if any), publicize the results to promptly warn the community...

As Lao Dong reported, since the afternoon of December 12, hospitals in Phan Thiet area (old Binh Thuan) have received many people hospitalized with stomach pain, vomiting, repeated diarrhea, fever... Doctors diagnosed intestinal infections caused by bacteria, monitored food poisoning.
Through medical history, the coincidence is that most patients have previously confessed to eating cold-fleshed bread at the same bread truck in Phan Thiet ward.
A family ate pate boxes bought from a bread truck, causing 10 people to show symptoms of suspected food poisoning and 6 people to be hospitalized for treatment.
After the incident, the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Health requested relevant units to urgently coordinate in handling the incident. The provincial Food Safety and Hygiene Department has issued a decision to temporarily suspend the operation of the related business establishment and collect food samples and trace the origin to serve the investigation.
