On December 15, Mr. Tran Bao Ha - Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province - chaired a meeting to review the implementation of preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony for works and projects to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party.
The meeting was attended by leaders of relevant departments, branches, sectors, investors and local authorities.
At the meeting, after listening to the report on the preparation work, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and commended the departments, branches, sectors, localities and investors for their efforts and readiness for the groundbreaking ceremony and the launching of projects to welcome the Congress.
According to the registration of Ha Tinh province, out of 6 projects, 2 projects were organized to start construction, 4 projects held a groundbreaking ceremony. The total capital of the projects reached more than 128,552 billion VND, of which 1 project used provincial budget capital, the remaining projects came from investors' capital.
According to the plan, Vingroup will organize a groundbreaking ceremony for 4 projects, including: Vinmetal Ha Tinh Steel Factory, with a total investment of nearly VND 80,000 billion, with a scale of more than 461 hectares; Ky Trinh New Urban Area (Song Tri Ward), with a total investment of VND 8,000 billion, with a land use scale of more than 84 hectares; Ky Anh Wind Power Plant, with a capacity of 400 MW, with a total investment of VND 17,051 billion; Eco Wind Ky Anh Wind Power Plant, with a capacity of 500 MW, with a total investment of VND 22,647 billion.
The four projects of Vingroup Corporation launched on December 19 are all large-scale projects, playing an important role in creating momentum for the development of Vung Ang Economic Zone as well as Ha Tinh province in the new period, oriented to become a strategic industrial - energy center of the country.
On this occasion, Ha Tinh also organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Ha Tinh Museum in Thanh Sen ward with a total investment of 305 billion VND, using provincial budget capital. The project planning area is about 2.28 hectares, including a 4-storey main house and other auxiliary items, on a total construction area of 12,990 m2.
When completed, Ha Tinh Museum will not only meet the requirements for exhibition space and preservation of artifacts but also be an educational center, introducing the historical values and revolutionary traditions of Ha Tinh, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people and promoting local socio-economic development.
The Xuan Thanh New Urban Area Project, Nghi Xuan District - Phase 1 (now under Tien Dien Commune) has a total investment of VND549.5 billion, with a land use scale of 45.54 hectares, invested by Harumi Development Investment Joint Stock Company.
The urban area is identified as one of the core areas of urban development in the North of Ha Tinh province, contributing to expanding urban space, connecting the service chain, tourism along the Lam River, promoting socio-economic development of the whole region.
According to the report of the Ministry of Construction, by December 14, the ministry had compiled 237 projects and works of ministries, branches, localities, corporations, and general companies in 34 provinces and cities that were eligible to start construction and be inaugurated. Of which, 151 projects and works have started construction; 86 projects and works have been inaugurated and technically opened to traffic. The total investment of projects and works reached more than 3.4 million billion VND (of which state capital is more than 627 trillion VND, other capital sources are more than 2.79 million billion VND).
