14 Vietnamese women's volleyball players leave Thailand today

The hitters of the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team made their journey home at noon on December 16.

After the final match on the evening of December 15, members of the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team will return home at noon today, December 16. Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet said that the whole team is in good spirits and although they did not win a gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games, the players showed their expertise and the highest competitive ability in Thailand recently.

Thus, the professional journey of the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team will end after the members return home.

Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team have started to focus from the first phase of 2025 to carry out international tasks. Then, from October 25, the whole team will gather again to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games in professional training programs in Quang Ninh and Vinh Long. The team entered the 33rd SEA Games final but unfortunately lost 2-3 to host Thailand.

After the final match on the evening of December 15, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet expressed that the final point situation that caused us to lose the match was a fierce professional fall. Because that was the decisive situation for the overall victory after the Thai female player's direct serve.

The list of 14 Vietnamese women's volleyball players participating in the 33rd SEA Games includes Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Vo Thi Kim Thoa, Nguyen Khanh Dang, Dang Thi Kim Thanh, Doan Thi Lam Oanh, Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh, Nguyen Thi Uyen, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, Le Nhu Anh, Le Thanh Thuy, Tran Thi Bich Thuy, Le Thi Yen, Luu Thi Hue, Bui Thi Anh Thao.

In the last 3 matches against the Thai women's team in the finals of the SEA Games, the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team has lost all matches.

The Vietnam women's volleyball team will end their training in 2025 after the 33rd SEA Games.
