After receiving the Testing Results Certificate of the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene - for 8 product samples of bird's nest made by Tuan Duong & TKT Salanganes Nest Company Limited (in Thanh Son town, Thanh Son district, Phu Tho), on June 18, 2025, Market Management Team No. 7 (Phu Tho Provincial Market Management Department) made a working record for the Company's representative with the coordination of the representative of the Department of Health; Economic Police Department, Phu Tho Provincial Police.
Test results showed that all 8 bird's nest models did not meet the main quality standards compared to the self-declared product version of Tuan Duong bird's nest & TKT. The protein content in the product is only 18 - 58% compared to the announcement, the Lipid content is only about 3% compared to the announcement.
Based on the testing results, Market Management Team No. 7 determined that more than 23,000 previously detained bird's nest products of Tuan Duong & TKT Salanganes Nest Company Limited were counterfeit, with the value of the violating goods determined to be more than 900 million VND.
Determine signs of violating the regulation " Production and trading of counterfeit goods such as food, foodstuffs, and food additives". Market Management Team No. 7 has transferred the entire case file and evidence of the violation to the Economic Police Department, Phu Tho Provincial Police for further investigation and handling according to regulations.
