Through inspection, the general review in Dien Bien province has not detected fake milk, common violations are trading in smuggled goods, and cannot present documents proving the origin and origin of the product.
Based on the inspection results, the team has administratively sanctioned 8 facilities, with a total fine of 29 million VND. At the same time, all goods of unknown origin, which do not ensure safety for consumers' health, have forced the owner of the facility to destroy them.
The Department of Health recommends that people need to become smart consumers, resolutely say no to foods of unknown origin and do not support the consumption of fake milk.

Recently, implementing the direction of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Health has issued a document requesting the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities to organize a peak period from May 15 to June 15, 2025 to fight against the production and sale of counterfeit goods in the health sector.
Accordingly, the People's Committees of localities need to direct competent agencies to urgently launch a peak period of inspection and handling of smuggling, trade fraud, and infringement of intellectual property rights for items such as drugs, cosmetics, health protection foods, medical equipment, and chemicals used in medicine and daily life. The implementation results will be reported to the Ministry of Health before June 20, 2025.
