The parade and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is an important event that people across the country are waiting for. Along with the plan to ensure security and order of departments and branches, the Ministry of Health has developed a detailed plan to ensure medical work for this event.
According to Dr. Ha Anh Duc, Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management (Ministry of Health), the Ministry has issued plan No. 1105/KH-BYT covering all areas related to health, from ensuring food safety, epidemic prevention to responding to emergency situations, including natural disasters. Thousands of medical staff will join medical teams on duty in key areas, from the center of Hanoi to the areas where the parade groups will pass. Along with that, the Ministry of Health also deployed teams to inspect the environment, food safety and epidemic prevention before the parade and parade took place.
The Ministry of Health coordinates with the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, and the People's Committee of Hanoi City to direct medical examination and treatment facilities to ensure emergency care and medical examination and treatment throughout the celebration. Specifically, medical facilities will organize regular emergency care, medical examination and treatment and health care for delegates, guests, service staff for celebrations, parades, parades and people attending the event.
Medical teams will be deployed along parade and march routes and in central areas, with adequate medicine, equipment, and consumables to equip medical teams. The Ministry of Health also directed a number of hospitals to prepare 5-10 beds in case of unusual situations.
Due to the large number of participants, it is very difficult for ambulances to enter streets where parades and parades take place. Therefore, the Ministry of Health has arranged mobile medical teams in health tents on the routes to promptly handle cases that need emergency care or primary health care. These health teams will guide people to the nearest medical facility if they cannot resolve the situation on the spot.
The Ministry of Health also recommends that people attending the event need to be aware of protecting their health and that of the community.
For people with chronic diseases, they must strictly follow the treatment regimen and take adequate medicine. If attending the event, people need to drink enough water, bring sun and rain protection devices, and proactively leave crowded areas if they feel their health is declining.
The Ministry of Health also recommends that people install the A80 application on their smartphones to track the location of health groups and can receive timely support when needed. This will help ensure the health safety of everyone when participating in the parade.
