Nearly a month after undergoing procedures at a beauty salon in Hai Phong, Ms. Nguyen Thi Th (born in 1985, residing on Do Quang Street, Le Thanh Nghi Ward) did not survive.
According to initial information, at around 10am on July 2, Ms. Th went to the MELIZΛ High-Tech Aesthetic Training Center (address 482 Nguyen Van Linh, same ward where she lives) to do some beauty treatments, including massage, acupressure and the removal of the filler that had been injected into her chest about two years ago.
After the procedures, Ms. Th suddenly fainted at the facility. Realizing the serious condition, the owner of the facility took the victim to Hai Duong General Hospital for emergency treatment. However, Ms. Th's health condition worsened, forcing her family to transfer her to Bach Mai Hospital (Hanoi) for further treatment.
Immediately after receiving the report, Hai Phong City Police began investigating. On July 3, the authorities worked with the facility and sealed the massage room on the 2nd floor - which was said to be the location for Th's treatment.
Then, on July 11, the People's Committee of Le Thanh Nghi Ward issued a decision to establish a surprise inspection team for the MELIZΛ Center. However, at the time of inspection, the owner of the facility was not present. The signboard hanging here reads: "Pharmacist Thanh Tuyen - MELIZΛ High-Tech Aesthetic Training Center". Notably, the facility has not yet presented a business registration certificate and practice certificates according to regulations.
By July 14, all signs of this facility had been removed. The authorities are continuing to verify to clarify the signs of administrative violations and related to the cause of Ms. Nguyen Thi Th's death.
