Vice Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Phu has just signed Decision No. 121 approving the plan to lease information technology services Software to deploy electronic medical records at the Provincial General Hospital.
Accordingly, the Provincial General Hospital is the unit in charge of hiring information technology services. This investment aims to ensure that it meets the goal of digitizing medical data, meeting all conditions for implementing the hospital's electronic medical records according to regulations.
In terms of scale, the Hospital will hire software to manage the hospital information system to serve management, operation and professional operations.
This move is expected to help with administrative reform, increase the management efficiency of the Board of Directors when managing units and improve hospital quality.
The main items to be hired to serve the implementation of electronic medical records include: Hire of hospital information system (HIS) services; testing information system (LIS); image storage and transmission system (RIS/PACS); electronic medical record (EMR) software system; management and operation software.
The total investment for this plan is more than 7.6 billion VND, revenue from medical examination and treatment services, and career development funds. The service rental period lasts 3 years.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Health to direct the Provincial General Hospital to fully absorb the appraisal opinions and complete the dossiers and procedures before implementation.
