Currently, the whole province has recorded 17 cases of severe dengue hemorrhagic fever, concentrated in the 30 - 49 year old group (accounting for 47%).
Among them, Bao Loc city has the highest number of severe dengue hemorrhagic fever cases (6 cases). In 2024, 1 death was recorded in Bao Loc.
In 11/12 districts and cities in the province, dengue fever outbreaks have been recorded (except Lac Duong district), in which the rate of treating outbreaks with chemical spraying is high in Cat Tien, Da Teh, and Da Huoai districts. .
Currently in the province there are 947 dengue fever outbreaks , 100% of detected outbreaks have been treated. Of these, 396 outbreaks were treated with chemical spraying combined with larvae extermination and 551 outbreaks were treated with larval extermination.
According to Lam Dong Department of Health, it is forecast that dengue fever in the province will continue to record high levels in 2024 and the following years.
