The Ministry of Health has just proposed a plan to reorganize the system of public service units in the health sector in the spirit of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Central Committee.
According to the proposed plan, the block of medical training schools will continue to be maintained but restructured to be more streamlined, towards a connecting, synchronous and efficient system.
In parallel with the training block, the Ministry of Health also reviewed all specific units such as communication centers, organ transplant coordination centers, national centralized drug procurement centers, etc. to ensure that only essential points of service to the people are retained.
In particular, the SOS Vietnam and SOS system, which are received by the Ministry of Health from the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, will be transferred to the People's Committees of provinces for management, helping to increase proactiveness in the locality.
The arrangement plan is designed according to an inherited roadmap, without causing disruption, both maintaining stable professional operations and improving the quality of medical human resource training in the new period.
