On the afternoon of July 7, Vung Tau Hospital (HCMC) said that a driver was taken to the emergency room in a stroke condition, is now in stable health, and is being monitored.
Previously, at around 11:35 a.m., driver V.T.H (born in 1965, residing in Binh Tan Ward) was driving a car with license plate 50E-04x.x2, when he reached Tran Phu Street (Ben Dinh, Vung Tau Ward) when he suddenly suffered a stroke.
Seeing this person showing unusual signs, suspected to be a stroke, people nearby quickly called 115 to take him to the hospital for emergency care. Admitted to the hospital at around 11:50 a.m., the patient was quickly diagnosed by doctors and given a blood thinners (also known as thromboplasty), which had a good effect, so the patient quickly stabilized.
According to Vung Tau Hospital, blood thinners are only most effective for 3 hours (maximum 4.5 hours) from the time the patient has a stroke. The earlier the drug is used, the higher the success rate. Therefore, if this case is detected, it is necessary to quickly take the patient to hospitals, or call an emergency for timely support and treatment.
