Hanoi officially changes the names of 13 hospitals in the area

    Hanoi decided to rename 13 hospitals under the city's Department of Health from August 19, 2025.

    The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 4318/QD-UBND to rename a number of hospitals under the Department of Health.

    According to the decision, the city will rename 13 hospitals under the Department of Health as follows:

    Gia Lam District General Hospital becomes Gia Lam General Hospital.

    Ba Vi District General Hospital becomes Ba Vi General Hospital.

    Thach That District General Hospital becomes Thach That General Hospital.

    Quoc Oai District General Hospital becomes Quoc Oai General Hospital.

    Dan Phuong District General Hospital becomes Dan Phuong General Hospital.

    Hoai Duc District General Hospital becomes Hoai Duc General Hospital.

    Chuong My District General Hospital becomes Chuong My General Hospital.

    Thanh Oai District General Hospital becomes Thanh Oai General Hospital.

    My Duc District General Hospital becomes My Duc General Hospital.

    Thuong Tin District General Hospital becomes Thuong Tin General Hospital.

    Phu Xuyen District General Hospital becomes Phu Xuyen General Hospital.

    Me Linh District General Hospital becomes Me Linh General Hospital.

    Phuc Tho District General Hospital becomes Phuc Tho General Hospital.

    This Decision takes effect from August 19, 2025.
