Speaking at the opening ceremony of Thang Long Lac Viet International Hospital on March 30, Deputy Minister of Health Tran Van Thuan emphasized that Thang Long Lac Viet International Hospital is going into operation, adding more private medical examination and treatment facilities in the capital, contributing to expanding the health network and increasing choices for people.
The hospital's operation not only adds more medical examination and treatment facilities but also contributes to shaping a modern, specialized medical model, taking technology and expertise as the foundation, towards patients. This is also a direction consistent with Resolution 72-NQ/TW of the Politburo on strengthening the protection, care and improvement of people's health. The policy of the Party and State is to effectively mobilize social resources for health care, in which private healthcare plays an important role, contributing to reducing the public sector's burden and improving access to services.
The hospital gathers a team of doctors who have worked at central-level facilities, and also cooperates professionally with Hanoi Medical University Hospital, K Hospital and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital. Thanks to that, patients can be examined and consulted with experts right in Hanoi, reducing referrals but still ensuring health insurance benefits.
Notably, the hospital is implementing the "0 VND difference kidney dialysis" program, patients are paid 100% by health insurance, no additional costs are incurred. Radiation acceleration therapy to modulate volume in cancer treatment is also applied and fully covered by health insurance, helping patients access high technology at a reasonable cost.
The facility is invested in a modern diagnostic and treatment equipment system such as MRI, 128-slice CT, digestive endoscopy and automatic testing. Notably, the 3D mammography system helps increase the ability to detect breast cancer early, while reducing the dose of X-rays.
In addition to professional factors, the hospital develops the "hospital - hotel" model, with a separate inpatient area, a closed care process, aiming for a comfortable and private experience for patients.
