Faced with the risk of increasing infectious diseases such as dengue fever, hand, foot and mouth disease, COVID-19 in the summer and storm season in 2025, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province has just issued a directive requiring departments, branches and localities to proactively and drastically implement measures to prevent and control epidemics.
The Department of Health of Hai Duong province is assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to strengthen supervision and forecasting of the epidemic situation; promptly warn and guide people to take measures to prevent epidemics. The provincial Center for Disease Control needs to promote disease prevention propaganda on the media, taking disease prevention as the main concern.
At the same time, the health sector needs to fully prepare facilities, human resources, medicines, chemicals, and equipment for epidemic prevention, especially in situations of natural disasters and floods that easily cause epidemics.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is assigned to promote communication about the epidemic on the media system and social networks. The Department of Education and Training directs educational institutions to raise awareness among students and parents about disease prevention and control during the summer.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province requested departments, branches, sectors, unions, and local authorities at all levels to proactively launch infectious disease prevention campaigns, especially dengue fever, hand, foot and mouth disease, COVID-19, eye pain, diarrhea, left, leprosy, welding... in accordance with actual local conditions, contributing to protecting public health in the upcoming summer and rainy season.
