By the morning of July 2, the patient was tired, taken to Hue Central Hospital and died the same afternoon. The test results determined that Mr. C. was positive for streptococcus Suis.
Epidemiological investigation shows that the patient's family and neighbors did not raise pigs; no disease was detected in the pigs in the area. People in close contact have not shown similar symptoms. However, the environmental treatment around the patient's house was temporarily postponed due to the funeral being held.

Patients are distributed in the wards: Kim Long, Phu Xuan, Huong An, An Cuu, Thuan An, Thuy Xuan, Duong No (2 people) and Thuan Hoa (3 people).
The Hue City Center for Disease Control in coordination with local health centers has sprayed 25% of Cloramine B disinfectant at the residence and nearby areas of the cases.
