On November 16, in An Chau commune, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association coordinated with the Nghe An Department of Health and the Provincial Young Physicians Association to organize the program "CAREME - For a healthier Vietnam", implementing cardiovascular, kidney and metabolic screening for local people.
The program was attended by Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Lien Huong - Deputy Minister of Health; MSc. MSc. Nguyen Huu Tu - Deputy Head of the Department of Youth and Children's Affairs, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Permanent Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association; Dr. Dr. Le Thi Hoai Chung - Director of Nghe An Department of Health; representative of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union; leaders of central, provincial health units and An Chau commune authorities.

The activity aims to raise awareness of non-communicable diseases, detect health risks early and encourage people to maintain the habit of regular health check-ups.
Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee presented 40 gifts to policy families and disadvantaged households; 40 gifts to students in special circumstances; and 20 gifts to health workers affected by natural disasters.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the team of young doctors and youth union members directly examined and provided free health consultation for more than 1,000 people in An Chau commune.
