Hanoi will implement periodic health check-ups or free screening visits for people at least once a year according to target groups and priority roadmaps.

On October 2, Quang Minh commune (Hanoi) launched a health examination and management program for all people in the area in 2025.

According to the plan, this time, Quang Minh commune will organize health check-ups for all 63,344 people in the area, including: children under 5 years old; primary and secondary school students, high school students; cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers in state agencies, units, social organizations; the elderly; freelance workers and other subjects...

People are given a general clinical examination; general internal medicine examination; foreign medicine examination; specialist examination; obstetrics and gynecology (for women of reproductive age); paraclinical examination (for cases where it is necessary to have a prescription); ultrasound; heart ultrasound; X-ray; bloodology and biochemistry tests...

In particular, the examination results of each citizen will be updated by the commune in the electronic health records. Cases detected will be consulted and transferred to timely treatment.

Speaking at the launching program, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha praised the Party Committee and People's Committee of Quang Minh commune for their efforts in caring for, protecting and improving the health of local people.

At the same time, from the health examination program of Quang Minh commune, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Thu Ha requested leaders of the city's departments, branches, sectors, Party committees, and local authorities to fully and deeply grasp, strongly innovate thinking and action in leading, directing, organizing the implementation of the work of protecting, caring for and improving people's health; integrate and prioritize indicators on health protection, care and improvement in the city's strategies, plans, and policies for socio-economic development.

The Department of Health shall preside over and coordinate with the city's departments, branches, and People's Committees of communes to innovate the governance of the health sector in conjunction with reforming administrative procedures, decentralization, and complete decentralization; synchronously perfecting mechanisms and policies, focusing on improving the capacity of the health system, especially preventive medicine and primary health care.

Units and localities shall conduct periodic health check-ups or free screening examinations for people in the capital at least once a year according to target groups and priority roadmaps.

The People's Committees of communes and wards direct health stations to promote their core role, coordinate with upper-level hospitals to synchronously deploy the process of public health examination, ensuring science, efficiency and safety. At the same time, localities are urgently completing electronic health records for each citizen, moving towards managing public health using digital technology.

For the Party Committee and People's Committee of Quang Minh commune, it is necessary to promote the pivotal and pivotal role in propaganda and mobilization of people to participate in a full health check-up. Each citizen will have a unified electronic health record, updated regularly, and connected between routes. The results of medical examination and treatment must be connected and shared between medical facilities, so that people only need to see a doctor once but can use data many times, saving time and costs.
