Recently, the department admitted a 55-year-old patient to the hospital in a state of mild weakness in the left side of his body and slurred speech. Not long after, the patient suddenly became worse, paralyzed in the left side, had a hard eye, and was unable to speak.
The medical team immediately performed endovascular intervention, using stents and straws to remove the thrombosis, helping to re-open the cerebral blood vessels.

After a day of intervention, the patient moved his limbs, returned to talking and did basic activities. After 24 hours, her health almost completely recovered.
According to statistics from the Stroke Department, in the past 2 months, the unit has successfully performed 9 cases of blood clotting to re-open cerebral blood vessels. Patients who have passed the dangerous stage and are continuing to recover their function will be re-evaluated after 3 months.

Doctors recommend 4 golden rules for early recognition and intervention of stroke such as: Facial (dendruff), arms (weakness or paralysis), words (abnormal language) and time (golden time to save the patient).
