On the evening of November 16, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Traffic Construction Maintenance Management Board confirmed that some locations on the Khanh Son Pass (on Provincial Road 9) had landslides due to heavy rain.
The authorities mobilized personnel and machinery to urgently collect soil and rocks, clear fallen trees to clear the route.


In addition, the force is deployed 24/7 at vulnerable points on Khanh Le Pass and Ngoan Luc Pass to promptly handle landslides.
At the same time, heavy rain caused flooding in a section of National Highway 1 through Cam Lam commune.
Traffic police were present to be on duty, direct traffic, and ensure traffic. Many roads in Bac Cam Ranh ward were also partially flooded.
In Trung Khanh Vinh commune, heavy rain combined with water from streams caused the water level to rise, the overflow bridge in Ba Canh village (the road to Song Cho hydropower plant) was deeply flooded, the water flowed rapidly.

The authorities have put up ropes and warning signs and prevented people from passing through the dangerous area.
According to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, from the afternoon of November 16 to 18, there is a possibility of a flood on the rivers in the province. The flood peak is generally at alert level 1-2; Dinh River (Ninh Hoa) alone may reach alert level 2-3. The flood peak is expected to occur on November 17.
On the same day, the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa requested affiliated units, People's Committees of communes/wards/hamlets to proactively monitor the situation, respond to heavy rain, flash floods, and landslides.
Schools can let students stay home from school if the weather is complicated.
