On April 19, the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province held the inauguration ceremony of My Lam Mineral Spring Hospital.
The project is invested by the Department of Health of Tuyen Quang province, starting construction at the end of 2022.
The project is located on a 4ha campus, with a scale of 200 beds, including main items such as 2 - 3 floors high department blocks.
My Lam Mineral Spring Hospital is the only medical unit in Tuyen Quang treating diseases related to bones and joints, dermatology, respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, and is recommended to use "minerotherapy" (treatment with natural minerals) rather than traditional treatment methods.
The healing effects of hot mineral springs are a combination of 3 physical therapy therapies, including hydrotherapy, heat therapy and mineral therapy. Treated patients are immersed in a still swimming pool or wave-forming tank, mud bath, spraying water, steam bath, dry bath.
My Lam is more than 12km from the center of Tuyen Quang city. My Lam mineral spring was discovered by French geologists in the 1930s with an average temperature of 40 to 67 degrees Celsius. The mineral spring here has many minerals that are beneficial to health, especially for diseases of bones, joints and nerves.
