Eliminate liver toxins with good morning habits

The liver is an important organ, playing the role of filtering toxins, metabolizing nutrients and supporting digestion.

Experts say that establishing good habits in the morning can help the liver function effectively, contributing to eliminating toxins and protecting long-term health.

According to Dr. David Friedman - nutritionist and author of the book "Food Sanity", one of the simplest ways to support the liver is to drink a glass of warm water mixed with lemon right after waking up. "Lemon water is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, stimulating the liver to produce bile, thereby promoting the elimination of toxins and supporting digestion," Mr. Friedman emphasized.

A balanced breakfast is also key. Instead of skipping meals or using greasy fast foods, prioritize whole grains, green vegetables, fruits, and lean proteins. Nutritionist Samantha Cassetty (USA) recommends: "A breakfast rich in fiber helps stabilize blood sugar, while reducing pressure on the liver in processing fat and refined sugar".

In addition to diet, light exercise such as walking for 15-20 minutes or practicing yoga in the morning also helps increase blood circulation, stimulating liver activity. In particular, getting enough sleep from the previous night is equally important, because the liver performs the strongest detoxification function between 11pm and 3am.
