Seeds that help keep kidneys healthy for a long time, fresh or dried are very delicious

macadamia nuts are not only known as a nutritious seed but are also highly appreciated by many nutritionists for their ability to support kidney health.

According to Let's Healthify, macadamia nuts have an extremely low oxalate content, only about 12mg per 100g, much lower than almonds at 122mg per 100g. This helps reduce the risk of kidney stone formation.

Additionally, macadamia nuts are rich in magnesium, a mineral that helps prevent the crystallization of oxalate. Potassium in nuts also helps regulate sodium, which helps control blood pressure, thereby better protecting the kidneys.

You should only eat about 10 to 12 nuts per day, along with a glass of water to support the mineral excretion process. Avoid eating salted roasted nuts because salt increases the burden on the kidneys and can easily cause high blood pressure.

Soak the raw nuts overnight to reduce mineral inhibitors. Prioritize dried roasted nuts over roasted oil because the oil often has more phosphorus. Store in a glass jar to keep fresh and limit oxidation.

Eating citrate with citrus fruits helps prevent stones. Use it with calcium-rich foods like yogurt to bond oxalates, reducing the risk of crystallization. Avoid combining with foods rich in oxalates such as spinach.

macadamia nuts are not a powerful drug for kidney detoxification, but thanks to their low oxalate content, rich in magnesium and balanced minerals, they can become part of a healthy diet. Eating properly and in the right amount will be the key to protecting long-term kidney health.
