Star fruit is a rustic fruit, rich in vitamins but contains many risks for workers with kidney disease. Therefore, this group should stay away from star fruit to protect their health.

Star fruit contains a large amount of oxalic acid. In healthy people, this substance can be excreted through the kidneys without harm.

As for people with kidney failure or kidney diseases, filtration and excretion function is impaired, causing oxalic acid to build up in the body. This can lead to kidney stones or make kidney damage worse. For workers – who have to spend a lot of energy – this risk is even higher if the body is not effectively excreted toxins.

In addition, star fruit also contains a dangerous substance for patients with kidney failure because it cannot be completely filtered by the kidneys. That is caramboxin. When accumulated, caramboxin can cause symptoms such as prolonged hiccups, nausea, convulsions, and conscious disorders.
