Among them, there is the case of Ms. D. (Vietnamese American) who performed eyebrow services, wrinkle removal, lip shaping, migration, forehead contouring... with a total amount of 425,000,000 VND at V.V Feng Shui eyebrow facility (District 10).
Also at this facility, Ms. T. and Ms. H. had to pay over 90,000,000 VND for lip and eyebrow services. Another case is Ms. N. who reported that she had eyebrow, lip and temple services, had her blood drawn, spun in a centrifuge and injected into her temples and forehead at the N.S Feng Shui Eyebrow Facility (District 10) for a total of 248,500,000 VND...
Implementing state management of health in the city, in recent times, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health has coordinated with agencies and departments in inspecting and handling activities related to the health sector at feng shui eyebrow facilities in the area.
On September 27, 2024, the Department of Health Inspectorate issued a Decision to impose an administrative penalty on Ms. Nguyen Dan Vi - Owner of Vien Vien Feng Shui Eyebrow Business Household and a Decision to impose an administrative penalty on Ms. Ngo Linh Huong - employee of Vien Vien Feng Shui Eyebrow Business Household (address: 284 Ba Thang Hai Street, Ward 12, District 10, HCMC).
The Health Department Inspectorate publicly posts the content of the Decision on administrative sanctions on the City Health Department's electronic information portal http://thanhtra.medinet.gov.vn.
Recently, the People's Committee of District 10 also inspected and issued a Decision to sanction administrative violations of the act of "Providing medical examination and treatment services without a license to operate medical examination and treatment" against Ngoc San Feng Shui Eyebrow Business Household (693 Ba Thang Hai Street, Ward 6, District 10, HCMC) and Huong Giang Feng Shui Eyebrow Business Household (100 Ba Thang Hai Street, Ward 12, District 10, HCMC).
In addition to handling administrative violations, the Department of Health synthesizes records and documents provided by people and sends them to the police to continue investigating and verifying business activities with signs of fraud and property appropriation according to the reported content.
The Department of Health recommends that people be cautious with advertising information with the content: Changing fate, helping to improve luck, fortune, using images of famous artists, modern technology along with attractive promotional programs... of feng shui eyebrow facilities when the information about the facility's operations is unclear, there is no scientific verification related to feng shui, easily falling into superstitious activities causing many serious consequences.
