"To aim for an end to the AIDS epidemic by 2030, we need to continue to make further efforts. The epidemic is still tiem nang, especially in high-risk groups. New challenges require us to have new approaches, more creative and stronger communication solutions" - Mr. Tran Tuan Linh said.

The 2025 National Press Award on HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control aims to vividly reflect the fight against HIV/AIDS in many fields, from propaganda, prevention to care, treatment and support for people infected with HIV/AIDS.

At the same time, it is to honor collectives and individuals with many contributions, as well as creative and effective models and methods.

Through journalism works, the Organizing Committee hopes to contribute to raising social awareness, eliminating discrimination and discrimination related to HIV/AIDS, while encouraging the spirit of humanity and community responsibility.

Associate Professor, Dr. Phan Thi Thu Huong - Chairwoman of the Council of Hanoi Medical University, Chairwoman of the Council of Judges of the contest - expressed: "Through this contest, the Organizing Committee hopes to have more works realistically depicting the image of typical collectives and individuals across the country who are making efforts on the HIV/AIDS prevention and control front.

These could be stories about dedication to propaganda, prevention, care, treatment, or silent actions in supporting people infected with HIV and vulnerable groups. Each work not only honors dedication but also contributes to eliminating discrimination, spreading the spirit of humanity and community responsibility".
