These products are widely promoted online, with packaging stating Hoang Chau Pharma Company Limited.
In May 2025, the Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health) requested the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety and the Hanoi Food Safety and Hygiene Department to inspect, verify production activities and take samples to test a number of products advertised by individuals nicknamed "Ngan Collagen".
Through post-inspection work, the Department discovered that N - Collagen Import-Export Company Limited in Ho Chi Minh City, because "Ngan Collagen" promoted products such as belly fat-reduced apple candy, N-Collagen Chanh Plus... showed signs of violating regulations on advertising and advertising food products. The results of the review on the public service system showed that the Department had not yet issued a Certificate of Receipt of Product Declaration Registration and a Certificate of advertising content for the above products.
These products are labelled as supplementary foods, with distribution and production addresses in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. In which, Hoang Chau Pharm and Bequen Company are responsible for product quality; the manufacturing units are Vesco Pharmaceutical Company Limited and Visco Pharmaceutical Company Limited (both in Hanoi).
In early June, after a period of silence, Ngan Collagen spoke up to confirm that her company's products were "all licensed and legally inspected", and at the same time published many documents to prove it. On platforms such as Facebook and TikTok, she has repeatedly affirmed that her products help "rejuvenate the skin, make it white from within, support hormones and comprehensive beauty".
