According to local people, subsidence began to appear after a prolonged period of heavy rain at the end of October.

Mr. Nguyen Duy (Hai Van ward, Da Nang city) said: "I often travel on this route, so when I see such a subsidence point, I am very worried. Every day, I mainly travel by car, the sunken road takes up nearly half of the road and is long, making traffic quite dangerous, especially in the evening when visibility is limited.

Many vehicles have to avoid the damaged road surface, which can easily cause collisions if not paying attention. I hope the authorities will soon fix this road section so that people can travel more safely, especially during the rainy and stormy season."
