HCMC recommends not to use weight loss products advertised by Ngan Collagen

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety recommends that consumers do not buy or use weight loss food products advertised by Ngan Collagen.

On November 5, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety said that, based on Official Dispatch No. 2119/ATTP-NDTT dated October 22, 2025 of the Department of Food Safety on coordinating inspection and supervision of food products, in which, there is information about a number of weight loss food products advertised by individuals with the nickname "Ngar collagen" on social networks (abdominal duty corn, N-collagen Chanh plus...), currently the authorities are conducting inspections and verifying the production, trading and advertising activities of the above products.

To protect health, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety recommends that consumers do not buy or use weight loss food products including: N-Collagen Lemon Plus, N Collagen Corianderysina+ bird's nest Plus+, apple candy with belly fat (or apple candy, with the name of Hoang Chau Pharma Company Limited on the packaging of the products) while waiting for the authorities to complete the inspection and verification, especially when advertised by individuals on social networks or could not verify the origin of the product.

As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, Ngan Collagen's real name is Tran Thi Bich Ngan, famous on social networks. On social networking platforms and e-commerce platforms, Ngan Collagen often posts videos advertising weight loss and beauty products.
