On May 26, the Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health) issued an official dispatch requesting the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety and the Hanoi Food Safety and Hygiene Department to check and sample a number of products advertised by individuals with the nickname "yan Collagen" online.
Through post-inspection, the Department discovered that N - Collagen Import-Export Company Limited (District 8, Ho Chi Minh City) advertised " those with Apple defecation of belly fat", "N-Collagen Chanh Plus" ... showing signs of violating regulations on advertising and advertising. These two products have not been licensed and are both labelled as "supplementary foods", produced at Vesco Pharmaceutical Company Limited (Hanoi), with Hoang Chau Pharm Company Limited and BEQUEN Company Limited responsible for quality and distribution.
According to Decree 15/2018/ND-CP, this is a group of products under the authority of local management. The Department requires competent authorities to conduct field inspections, take samples for testing and handle if violations or use of banned substances are detected.
2 products of "Ngan Collagen" have not been licensed for advertising and advertising
The Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health) said that through post-inspection work, it has discovered that some products advertised by individuals using the nickname "Ngan Collagen" have signs of violating regulations on food disclosure and advertising. These products are identified as belonging to N - Collagen Import-Export Company Limited, located in District 8, Ho Chi Minh City.
Accordingly, the products named include N-Collagen Weight Loss Support Tea, Belly Fat Rehabilitation Apple Candy and N-Collagen Chanh Plus. Through online public service software testing, the Food Safety Department confirmed that it had not yet issued a Certificate of receipt of product declaration registration and a Certificate of advertising content for the products of Belly Fat Rehabilitation Apple and N-Collagen Chanh Plus.
The Department also said that on May 20, 2022, it had worked with N - Collagen Import-Export Company Limited to advertise N-Collagen Weight Loss Support Tea products on a number of websites. At the meeting, the company denied owning any official website and affirmed that it did not advertise the above product, and committed to coordinate in removing the violating content.
However, currently on the internet, there are still advertisements for two products, Belly Fat Rehabilitation Apple Candy and N-Collagen Lemon Plus with illegal content, causing misunderstandings about their uses as medicine. These two products are listed on the label as supplements.
Specifically, the Belly Fat Excrete Apple Candy product is exclusively distributed by N - Collagen Import-Export Company Limited, with Hoang Chau Pharm Company Limited responsible for quality and production at Vesco Pharmaceutical Company Limited (Hanoi). N-Collagen Chanh Plus product is responsible for quality by BEQUEN Company Limited, manufactured at Visco Pharmaceutical Company Limited (Hanoi).
Pursuant to Decree 15/2018/ND-CP and Circular 43/2014/TT-BYT, the Food Safety Department requests the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety to promptly inspect, verify the production, trading and advertising activities of the above products. At the same time, take samples for testing to detect banned substances (if any), strictly handle violations and promptly inform consumers.
The Department also requested the Department to inspect product classification, labeling and health recommendations in accordance with regulations. The results of the handling must be sent to the Department of Food Safety before June 6, 2025 for synthesis.

However, an inspection on the online public service system showed that the Department had not issued a Certificate of Receipt of Product Declaration Registration as well as a Certificate of advertising content for these two products.
According to the label image recorded online, the two above products are classified as "supplementary foods".

Pursuant to Decree 15/2018/ND-CP guiding the Food Safety Law, the supplementary food product group under the local management competence. Therefore, the Department of Food Safety has asked the Hanoi Department of Food Safety and Hygiene to urgently inspect and verify the process of production, business and advertising these products.
At the same time, the Department proposed to take samples for testing to determine whether or not to use banned substances, and handle them according to regulations if violations were detected.
