On June 13, the leader of the People's Committee of Yen Na commune, Tuong Duong district confirmed that the incident of two men dying after playing and drinking together at the house of a local resident had just occurred.
Previously, at around 1:00 p.m. on June 12, Mr. Tang Van Hoi (born in 1980) and Mr. Cut Van Cam (born in 1973), both residing in Xop Pu village, Yen Na commune, went to the house of one person in the village. After returning, both of them showed unusual symptoms.
Mr. Hoi died at his home. Mr. Cam was taken to the infirmary by relatives for emergency treatment, but did not survive. Upon receiving the news, the authorities of Tuong Duong district quickly arrived to examine the scene, the body and investigate the cause.
The leader of Yen Na commune said that both victims participated in a drinking party before dying. The specific cause is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
