Navy Region 4 hands over to the mainland for fishermen in distress at sea

    On the morning of October 8, in Khanh Hoa, the Naval Region 4 Command organized the handover of sick fishermen at sea to their families and local authorities.

    Previously, at 6:15 a.m. on September 26, the sea force received patient Nguyen Trung Tin (born in 1992, from Phu My Dong, Gia Lai), a fisherman on fishing boat BD 92592 TS, in a state of peripheral myopia inflammation, monitoring acute myopia damage, a very serious prognosis, risk of respiratory failure, and death.

    Immediately after receiving the patient, the patient was consulted with Military Hospital 175, and the superiors mobilized ship 641 to transport him to Truong Sa island for emergency care.

    At 7:00 p.m. the same day, Truong Sa island infirmary received and continued to treat and monitor the patient.

    After the patient's health temporarily stabilized, the Truong Sa 18 and HD-411 ships (Brigade 955) were mobilized to bring the fishermen to shore.

    As soon as they arrived at Cam Ranh military port, the Naval Region 4 Command coordinated with relevant agencies to hand over fisherman Nguyen Trung Tin to his family and local authorities for further monitoring and treatment according to regulations.
