On the morning of April 30, according to reporters' records, the beauty salon at address 112B Tue Tinh street, Vinh Phu ward, Nghe An province has closed.
Previously, Ms. P.T. T. (37 years old) reflected that after seeing advertisements for armpit odor treatment for only 499,000 VND on social networks, she came to this facility. However, when she arrived, she was continuously advised by self-proclaimed "doctor" staff to upgrade service packages with increasing costs, from a few million VND to tens of millions of VND.
According to reports, Ms. T. had to spend nearly 62 million VND on many services such as injection treatment, hair removal, folliculitis treatment and eyelid surgery. During the implementation process, customers were put in a "done" situation, continuously being enticed to use additional services for reasons such as "not enough treatment", "not doing it again will not be effective".
Not only are there signs of luring and picking customers' pockets, but the quality of service here also contains many risks when customers complain of being injected with substances of unknown origin, without invoices, and after surgery, only in the eyelid remains.
According to information from the Nghe An Department of Health, after receiving feedback about employees at the above-mentioned facility showing signs of providing aesthetic services without a license, the unit requested the Vinh Phu Ward People's Committee to intervene and handle it.
Vinh Phu Ward People's Committee then established an inter-sectoral inspection team to inspect and handle HT business household (address: No. 112B, Tue Tinh street, Vinh Phu ward).

Through inspection, functional agencies determined that this facility only has a business household registration certificate, has not been licensed to operate medical examination and treatment, but still arranges 9 service beds. Some medical equipment of unknown origin, without instructions for use in Vietnamese and without listed prices as prescribed.
The inspection team made a record, requesting to immediately stop the operation of providing medical examination and treatment services without a license, and at the same time continue to clarify signs of violations for handling according to regulations.
According to the Nghe An Department of Health, invasive cosmetic services such as eyelid surgery are within the scope of medical examination and treatment, only performed at licensed establishments and by people with appropriate practicing certificates. Illegal service provision poses a great risk to people's health.
Currently, the case is being further verified and clarified for strict handling according to legal regulations.
Over the past time, functional agencies of Nghe An province have drastically intervened, strengthened inspections and handled many beauty establishments impersonating medical facilities, luring to pickpocket customers, impersonating doctors, performing invasive techniques without being licensed. After this strong move, many establishments have had to close down and stop operating.
