Many COVID-19 cases appear, Thai Nguyen launches epidemic prevention

Việt Bắc |

Hospitals and medical centers in Thai Nguyen have started epidemic prevention measures as the number of COVID-19 cases tends to increase again.

According to the Center for Disease Control of Thai Nguyen province (CDC), as of May 24, the whole province recorded 55 cases of COVID-19, mainly appearing from the beginning of May until now.

Many cases discovered at agencies, schools, and companies show that the risk of the silently spreading epidemic is entirely possible if not strictly controlled.

The Thai Nguyen Department of Health has issued an official dispatch requesting relevant units to review and strengthen the capacity to examine, detect and treat cases. Develop an epidemic prevention plan, prepare human resources, equipment, facilities and activate the epidemic prevention system when necessary.

The inspection team chaired by the Thai Nguyen Department of Health and CDC has been established, working directly at medical facilities starting from May 23, to assess the implementation status, record difficulties, problems and find solutions.

Hospitals and medical facilities in Thai Nguyen have developed an epidemic prevention plan, patients with suspected symptoms are immediately transferred from the examination department and transferred directly to the infectious clinic.

In addition, isolation, treatment, chemical and epidemic prevention equipment areas are also prepared by hospitals and medical facilities to prevent complicated epidemics.
