On December 8, information from the Nghe An Provincial Department of Finance said that it had just issued a document to departments, branches and People's Committees of communes and wards requesting a review of all projects that are behind schedule and not implemented in the province.
The review aims to synthesize, report and advise the Provincial People's Committee to establish an interdisciplinary inspection team to approve the plan and list of inspection projects in 2026. Units are requested to give opinions on the list of projects outside the Southeast Economic Zone and industrial parks mentioned in Official Dispatch 9514/UBND-CN dated September 11, 2025.
The review content includes: current progress, extension period, inspection - examination status; supplementing information on construction and land procedures; updating the status of land allocation and lease; proposing handling options and clarifying the reasons for proposing to include or not include the project in the inspection list in 2026.
Nghe An Department of Finance recommends that units review and propose additional projects outside the above list, noting that only consider projects with non-budgetary capital, outside the Southeast Economic Zone and industrial parks. The deadline for submitting the report is before December 15, 2025.
In 2025, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee will not establish an interdisciplinary inspection team to inspect projects behind schedule outside the Southeast Economic Zone and industrial parks. However, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the departments of Finance, Construction, Agriculture and Environment to urgently review, report and advise on handling options for projects under the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team in 2023 and 2024.
According to the list of projects behind schedule in 2025 outside the Southeast Economic Zone and industrial clusters, the whole province has 115 projects behind schedule according to the proposals of units; 31 projects behind schedule according to management software extracts; 36 projects are being handled by departments and branches; 12 projects are in the inspection - examination plan of the Provincial People's Committee.
