Can Tho - Visiting the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tuyen, a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper gave nearly 13.4 million VND donated by readers.

On November 29, reporters from Lao Dong Newspaper and representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Phuoc Thoi Ward visited the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tuyen (Binh Hung area, Phuoc Thoi Ward, Can Tho City). This is the character in the life story of LD25059: Suor for a mother with a cardiovascular disease, raising two mentally ill children in Can Tho published in Lao Dong Newspaper on November 1, 2025.

During the visit, reporters and representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward presented Ms. Tuyen with 13,398,686 VND, donated by readers of Lao Dong Newspaper through the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund.

Receiving the money in hand, Ms. Tuyen emotionally sent her sincere thanks to readers of Lao Dong Newspaper, the Golden Heart Social Support Fund and the locality. From the supported money, Ms. Tuyen will manage to treat and provide medicine for her 2 children.

"With this amount of money, the children will have the conditions to be examined and treated. I am truly grateful to the readers of Lao Dong Newspaper for supporting my family. This is both a joy and motivation for me to continue trying to take care of my children. I also thank the locality for helping the 3 mothers and children in the past time," Ms. Tuyen shared.

A representative of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Thoi Ward said that the money from readers of Lao Dong Newspaper through the Golden Heart Social and Cultural Fund that Ms. Tuyen helped with was truly meaningful and practical. The unit sent its thanks to readers of Lao Dong Newspaper and hoped to continue receiving support from the Golden Heart Fund for other difficult lives in the locality.
