On the afternoon of June 9, in Ea Bong commune, Krong Ana district, Dak Lak province, an inauguration ceremony, handover and putting into use the Ea Bong Primary School project (Buon D'Ham school location) took place.
Attending the ceremony were Ms. H' Dau Knul - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Krong Ana District Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vu - Chairman of the People's Committee of Krong Ana District; Ms. Phan Thu Thuy - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Lao Dong Newspaper, and representatives of sponsors and local authorities.
Despite the pouring rain, more than 200 teachers, students and parents were still present, gathering in a joyful and exciting atmosphere.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vu - Chairman of the People's Committee of Krong Ana district - shared: "We would like to express our sincere thanks and acknowledge the deep affection and kindness of the sponsors, especially the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund - Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
The repair and upgrading of school scores not only creates better learning conditions for students who are children of ethnic minorities, but also adds motivation for teachers to work with peace of mind and complete assigned tasks well".
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vu, to make the school project constructed smoothly and ensure progress, there is a great contribution from the staff of the Management Board of the Construction Investment Project of Krong Ana district, along with the consensus and active support from the Party Committee, government and people of Ea Bong commune.
Through a field survey, the classrooms and schoolyards have been renovated and upgraded to good quality, according to the original design.
Ms. Vu Phuong Thanh - representative of Tan Hiep Phat Group - shared: "We are deeply aware of the social responsibility of the enterprise. Accompanying and contributing to this project is a great honor for Tan Hiep Phat".

On this occasion, Ms. Nguyen Thi Sinh - Principal of Ea Bong Primary School - sent her deep thanks to the delegates and sponsors who attended the important ceremony.
In the context of still lacking equipment, the school hopes to receive further attention, support and investment from benefactors and authorities in the future.
In this special event, together with the school and students, sponsoring units awarded 40 scholarships to 40 students in difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND.
In addition, 20 other students also received 20 study lamps to serve their studies. In particular, Petrolimex Sugar Plastics Company Limited has donated a TV to support additional teaching equipment for the school.
About a year ago, the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund received an official dispatch from the People's Committee of Krong Ana district requesting support for funding to renovate and upgrade Ea Bong Primary School (Buon D'Ham branch).
The school was built 25 years ago and has now seriously degraded after a long period of use. At that time, the school had 6 classes with a total of 176 students, and had many limited facilities. During the rainy season, many classrooms leak, affecting the quality of teaching and learning.
The total cost for the repair and upgrade is nearly 2 billion VND. Of which, the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund supported 1.3 billion VND to build 3 new classrooms and renovate the schoolyard.
Of which, Petrolimex Sugar Plastics Company Limited supported 300 million VND; Tan Hiep Phat Company supported 500 million VND; Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank) contributed 500 million VND.
The remaining funding is contributed by the People's Committee of Krong Ana district to implement the project.
