Excitedly living in a spacious, clean level 4 house that has just been completed, Ms. Pham Thi Dao (in Nam Cuong commune, Nam Truc district) shared: "Previously, my family lived in a house with a thatched roof. After many years, my wife and I saved money to repair and install the tiled roof. Over time, the tiled roof leaked from the rain, so my house was often damp. Thanks to the help of the government, my wife and I now have a fully equipped house, without having to worry about wind and rain, having to use a bucket to collect rainwater like before. Thank you to the Party and State for creating conditions and helping poor and near-poor households like me to improve their lives."
As one of the leading localities in the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Nam Dinh province, up to now, Nam Truc district has completed the construction of 20/35 new houses, repaired 23/23 houses for poor and near-poor households.

Deputy Head of Agriculture and Environment Division of Nam Truc Do Van Thang said that the district strives to complete the temporary house and dilapidated houses before June 20, helping households peace of mind to live in the upcoming rainy season. In order to soon complete the plan, the members of the Steering Committee deployed to delete temporary houses and dilapidated houses of the district often went to the grassroots to urge and remove difficulties and obstacles, especially issues related to legal procedures to facilitate the new construction.
