Connecting film standards
The most prominent feature of ProDock is the BNC portal that supports Genlock and timecode, allowing the synchronization of multiple cameras at the same time. This is the first time an iPhone has been able to participate directly in filming sets with a giant camera or LED screen system.
Professional appearance and supervision
The device is equipped with a HDMI port to export image signals to the external screen, making the frame inspection more accurate and convenient. This is especially useful for film crews that need to be directly supervised.
Expanding audio and storage
ProDock integrates a 3.5mm port for the microphone and headphones, along with many USB-C ports to connect external hard drives or control accessories. Thanks to that, users can record directly to external storage, solving the capacity problem when filming 4K or ProRes.

Stable power source
The device has a 12V DC power source input, which both powers the ProDock, charges the iPhone and powers the attached USB-C devices. This ensures that the long filming process is not interrupted by weak batteries.
Compact design, easy to install rig
With a weight of only about 270g and 1/4-20 mounting points, the ProDock can be easily installed on tripods, rotating rigs or other accessory systems.
Selling price
Blackmagic ProDock is now available at the Apple Store and official dealers, priced at around $299 (equivalent to around $7,887,000).
