The In-line Writing Help feature helps edit, suggest, and re-compile text in data entry boxes from emails, social media posts to online forms without opening separate ChatGPT.

With Browser Memories, Atlas can remember the context and preferences of users to suggest more accurately in future visits. This feature can be fully turned on/off, allowing users to control privacy.
Agent Mode - When ChatGPT acted alone
Users with the Plus and Pro packages can activate Agent Mode, allowing ChatGPT to perform automated actions such as searching for information, filling in forms, booking appointments, or shopping online. This is considered the first step for the AI-powered self- operated browser generation.
Direct competition with Chrome
According to OpenAI, Atlas was born with the goal of " redefining the role of browsers in the age of artificial intelligence". Integrating AI at the system level makes Atlas a potential competitor to Google Chrome, which is dominating the global market.
