An Indonesian teacher raises a Bengal tiger as big as a pet in the house, according to Caters News.
The 2018 photos that caused a stir on social media showed the owner Abdullah Saleh, 36, kissing a 10-year-old tiger named Mulan Jamila.
Their incredible friendship began when the tiger was 3 months old. Abdullah raised the tiger on his own in a yard in Malang, East Java, Indonesia.
Mulan and Abdullah play with each other every day. Abdullah did not hesitate to hug, tease and kiss the giant tiger.
Abdullah even said he would sleep with the tiger in the cage. However, Mulan also left scratches on his owner's face during a joke.
Mulan felt worried without me. Sometimes he wanted me to sleep near him and I followed him" - the Indonesian teacher said.
Mulan eats 10kg of chicken or goat meat per day. Thanks to the care of the Indonesian teacher, this tiger weighed up to 181kg, was 3m long, including a long tail and was about 1m high.
"It's very active, like a cat, a big cat with its own instincts. When I was playing, it could scratch and bite, and sometimes fight with me. Those are just a few risks I have to face, but I like to play with them. Mulan is my best friend and I enjoy taking care of him" - Abdullah shared.
Abdullah is a teacher at Al Ainul Baahirooh Islamic Boarding School and is tasked with taking care of a tiger given to him by his former owner.
Mulan Jamillah was given it when he was just 3 months old. I was asked to take care of it. It was a part-time job, but I immediately became attached to the lovely tiger and happily spent most of my time taking care of him. We have been friends for 10 years. She lived with me in my house. Now she has become a big "girl" - he shared.
The long-term friendship with the giant tiger has led to Abdullah being nicknamed the " tiger guardian" by the villagers.
According to Steemit, Abdullah Saleh also understands the dangers of being with this giant tiger. "There will be danger for me, so we need to always be vigilant" - the Indonesian teacher said.
"I understand that it is amonster and it has its own instinct. It could also tear me apart while I'm playing and there are some risks I'm facing," he said.
