The Budapest Artificial Intelligence Summit 2026 officially took place on September 7 and 8 in Budapest, Hungary.
As the largest technology forum in Central Europe, this year's event has the central theme "When tools become collaborative partners", reflecting a shift when artificial intelligence no longer stops at the role of supporting software but evolves into AI Agents directly involved in business operation processes.
The event gathered hundreds of speakers and thousands of international delegates to find solutions to the problem of commercializing huge investment capital in data infrastructure and digital technology.

At the dialogue sessions, experts focused on assessing the adaptive capacity of the labor force when working with AI, personalized health data management and strategies to maintain the competitiveness of economic sectors.
In parallel with the commercial aspect, the issue of ethics, legal corridors and the fragile boundaries between products created by algorithms and human creativity are also the focus of debate between policymakers and researchers.
In addition to in-depth discussion sessions, the forum creates highlights through the Prompt Battle competition, which processes images directly in 3 to 5 minutes, along with an experience space, demonstrating smart robot systems for young people passionate about technology.
The conference shows that digital solutions are gradually changing social habits, forcing many industries from finance, media to education and healthcare to transform to catch up with the AI agent wave.
