President Trump reveals peace ideas for Russia and Ukraine
On September 4 (local time), according to TASS news agency, President Donald Trump said that the US has an idea for a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine.
When asked what content the agreement could include, Mr. Trump did not disclose details but only said: "We have an idea for peace.
The US leader said Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are being sent to Russia and Ukraine to promote an agreement to end the conflict. According to sources, the two are expected to go to Moscow first, then to Kiev.
Mr. Trump continued to argue that the Russia-Ukraine conflict could have been resolved more easily. The US President also said that the conflict between the leaders of Russia and Ukraine is one of the factors hindering the peace process.

Yemen warns Houthi about Bab el-Mandeb Strait
On the same day, in Yemen, Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council Rashad al-Alimi announced that his country would not allow Iran or Houthi forces to control the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
Mr. al-Alimi warned that Houthi units would suffer great losses if they tried to access the strategic strait connecting the Red Sea with the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea.
The Yemeni leader affirmed that his country will not accept Iran or the Houthi forces linked to Tehran controlling Bab el-Mandeb in any form.
