The fire broke out on the morning of September 27, forcing 2,500 workers to rush to evacuate from the scene while authorities also urgently sent forces to put out the fire.
Civil defense forces, ambulances and police rushed to the scene to evacuate people from the building while firefighters tried to put out the fire.
Images and videos on social media show thick, black smoke covering the facade of the skyscraper.
The Kuwait National Bank announced on Twitter that all 2,500 workers had been evacuated and that by the time the article was published, the fire had been 90% contained.
The snail caught fire in the financial district of Kuwait City.
A bank spokesperson confirmed that no injuries were reported, according to Star.
