Vietnamese Embassy in Israel advises citizens

The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel has notified the Vietnamese community in Israel of some recommendations following new developments in the Middle East.

According to VNA, in the early morning of June 13, the Israel Inter prone Front Command issued national emergency security instructions to deal with the risk of a large-scale missile attack from the East, in the context of Israel conducting a military campaign against Iranian nuclear and missile facilities.

The main contents of the guide include:

(i) Temporarily suspend all educational activities, large-scale events and workplace activities, except for key areas such as health, security and energy.

(ii) Warning of a high possibility of heavy missile attacks that could affect any area in Israel, not limited by geography.

(iii) Request all Israeli citizens and foreigners living in Israel to closely monitor updated announcements from the Home Front Command and always be ready to take shelter when there are warning signals.

Based on the above situation and to ensure absolute safety of people and property, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel has notified the Vietnamese community in Israel of the following contents:

1. Strictly follow the regulations and instructions on security and safety protection measures of local authorities, minimize travel between cities during this sensitive time, try to stay near areas with basements... Always prepare shelter, flashlights, water, dry food, medicine, communication equipment and spare batteries; Do not gather, do not go to public areas, shopping centers or border areas. Proactively develop plans and strategies to ensure security and safety for yourself and your loved ones in the current context of war.

2. Closely monitor warnings on the Home Front Command application and information on the local's reputable media.

3. Regularly stay in touch with the Embassy, in case of emergency, need support and need to know information about citizen protection plans, we suggest that our citizens contact the following citizen protection hotline: +972-55-502-5616, +972-52-727-4248, +972-50-878-3373.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel will continue to closely monitor the situation and be ready to support citizens in case of need. The Embassy requested the Vietnamese community in Israel to stay calm, united and follow the instructions of local authorities to ensure maximum safety.
