The latest cold air forecast from the National Meteorological Center of China said that a new cold air mass will affect China, bringing strong winds and significantly reduced temperatures until December 25.
During this cold air mass, snow is forecast in northern regions and rain in southern China.
Due to the influence of cold air, from now until December 25, most areas in China will record temperatures dropping by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius.
Light to moderate rain is forecast in areas including the Western Ship, Hoang Hoai and Guangxi, while snowfall or light to moderate hail is forecast to affect areas such as Jilin, Inner Mongolia and northeastern China.
