The plan proposes to immediately end military activities, according to which Hamas will release 20 living Israeli hostages and the remains of more than 20 hostages believed to have died within 72 hours, in exchange for Israel's release of hundreds of Palestinians being held.
A Palestinian source with an understanding of the ceasefire negotiations said that Hamas had received a 20-point proposal from the White House. Hamas has been asked not to participate in Gaza management, while leaving open the possibility of establishing a Palestinian state in the future.
Speaking at a press conference after talks at the White House on September 29 with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US President Donald Trump called it a historic day for peace, but stressed that Israel would receive US support to completely destroy the threat from Hamas if the group did not agree.
The Palestinian government, which now runs the West Bank, assessed Mr Trump's efforts as " sincere and resolute", and pledged to cooperate with the US and regional countries to end the war, bring aid to Gaza and ensure the release of hostages and prisoners.
According to the plan, the fighting will immediately end, and the current border lines will be kept intact until conditions are met to withdraw troops in each stage. Hamas must dismantle the armored area, destroy the tunnel system and weapons production facilities.

In return, Israel will return the remains of 15 Palestinians to each Israeli hostage. Once the deal is agreed, humanitarian aid will be immediately sent to Gaza.
Regarding Gaza governance, a Palestinian technical and non-political committee will temporarily operate, under the supervision of a new international agency called the Peace Council, headed by Trump.
Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair will join other leaders who have not been announced. Mr. Putin called this a "brave and smart" plan.
The plan also affirms that Israel will not occupy or occupy Gaza, but will withdraw troops in stages, encouraging Palestinians to "come back and build a better Gaza".
Meanwhile, a Hamas official said the group was ready to study proposals that could end the war, but stressed that resistance weapons are a red line as long as ocprise exists.
