According to local authorities, Israel is accused of violating the ceasefire a total of 969 times, including 455 airstrikes and shelling, along with 298 shelling targeting civilians and their homes, killing 418 people and injuring more than 1,140 others.
The Gaza authorities also accused Israel of obstructing the transfer of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, despite existing agreements. According to them, this territory has only received 42% of the humanitarian aid needed to meet the basic needs of the people.
Israel has not commented on the above information.
Gaza residents are facing a serious shortage of food, medicine, drinking water and fuel. Local officials said the crisis is becoming more serious in the cold winter conditions.
Tensions in the Middle East erupted on October 7, 2023, when militants belonging to the Hamas armed movement in the Gaza Strip launched a surprise attack on Israel, killing nearly 1,200 residents in border settlements and taking more than 250 hostages.

According to the latest figures from the Gaza Ministry of Health, the total number of deaths due to fighting in this territory has exceeded 71,000, while more than 171,000 people have been injured.
Israel and Hamas have resumed indirect negotiations, with the mediation of Egypt, Qatar, the United States and Turkey, to resolve the situation in the Gaza Strip from October 6.
On October 9, the conflicting parties signed an agreement to deploy phase one of the Gaza ceasefire plan proposed by US President Donald Trump. The ceasefire officially took effect from October 10.
